Isle of Jura Brooklyn
Everyone knows you aren’t allowed to make scotch whisky outside of Scotland. So, the Makers of Isle of Jura picked a similarly convention-defying island, a little place called Brooklyn, and sent their rogue of a Master Distiller Mr. Willie Tait there with one goal: to create a world-class single malt scotch whisky made by and for the people of Kings County. He left with six cask samples and returned with an inspired blend hand-selected by some of the borough’s most revered inhabitants and establishments. Isle of Jura Brooklyn is aged in American White Oak Bourbon, Amoroso Sherry and Pinot Noir casks.
