The Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection, curated by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, features a rare selection of casks discovered in the distillery’s seaside warehouses. This particular whisky was aged for 51 years in an Oloroso puncheon, resulting in a molten bronze hue. The nose reveals complex aromas of sun-dried raisin, blood orange preserve, and maraschino cherry, complemented by hints of sandalwood, spiced vetiver, and a touch of sea salt. On the palate, it delivers enveloping waves of raisin balsamic, blackberry jus, and salted treacle, infused with notes of orange and sloe syrup.
